Interview with Reinhard Krause - war photographer
I did not like the definition to be a war correspondent or war photographer for myself so much. It has a very negative image as it gives the expression to be a kind of adventurer who likes to be in the middle of a gun fight to take pictures. I’m more a news photographer. Though in case of my posting in Israel and on stories before, I covered a lot of conflicts and military operations, but the main part of my work was to cover softer but also important news and also sports stories.
